Annuals To Plant Now - Summer
Summer is a time of year lots of gardeners dread here in Oz, it's hot, and dry and unforgiving. But that doesn't mean it's hopeless for our garden, in fact there are many beautiful annuals that actually thrive. We just need a touch of water.

1. Petunias
These are always a favourite, they come in such an array of colours, and look absolutely stunning.
Helpful hints: dead heading and tip pruning keeps them flowering linger and nice and bushy. Also snail bait will be your best friend!

Every kid remembers playing with these surely! Hours of fun, dainty and such pretty colours. Plus they grow in a variety of heights choose small and compact or big beautiful and bushy.
6. Poppies
You can never go wrong with a gorgeous poppy, from traditional red to summer pastels, no matter your gardens colour scheme you can be sure to find something.
