Autumn's Almost Here - Helpful Hints

Autumn is almost here! The weather has already begun to cool and provide relief for our poor, heat battered gardens.

Although we feel the change, it is important to remember the ground is still warm, and the days are still warm enough to dry our soils, so we do still need to water our poor plants.

Regular doses of seasol or a seaweed tonic will be more than welcome, this will help our plant cells stay stronger and roots recover from their beating the summer has provided.

Although you may be tempted cut start cutting back heavily, try refrain for a couple more weeks, this way the last of our harsh heat should have passed and we will not be putting unnecessary stress on our green friends.
