Lest We Forget

In 1915, on the 25th of April, soldiers from Australia and New Zealand were sent out to Gallipoli to help capture the peninsula.  Many brave soldiers lost their lives, and the poppy has now become a symbol of our remembrance for those souls lost, the red symbolising the blood shed during World War I.

Grown as an annual, and reaching 60cm tall, the deep red Flanders Poppy stands tall and proud, reminding us of those who fought for our country.

During the war, these poppies were one of the first things to emerge from the blood soaked and war torn battlefields of northern France and Belgium.

Let us honour and proudly remember those who fought so bravely for us.

Lest we forget...
